But rather than dwell on that fact, let's just be thankful for how incredibly far they've come! Aren't my kids amazing?

| Master Hayden asks the nurses to score him a bit of extra oxygen today, you know, since it's his birthday and all. |

They ARE amazing...and so are you!!!
ReplyDeleteWe've missed you lately! Now, Hayden, it's almost full term time, and it's time for you to kick your O2 habit so that you can join Scarlett and mommy on a brand new adventure. It's called an airplane, and I promise you that as a little boy, airplanes are really really cool and you'll love them. BUT, you must tell your little lungs that they are ready to work without the extra push from the oxygen machine. I know habits are hard to break, but I assure you that your mommy and daddy, and your "extended virtual family" have lots of amazing and exciting things planned for you that will give you a far better feeling than the machine. Come on, little big guy, you can do it!!! We are all pulling for you! Hang in there mommy, you're an inspiration to all of us! Scarlett, you are just gorgeous, little darling!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the motivational speech-- I read it in full to my son! Let's hope that he listens:) xo
DeleteYes, they are amazing--and OH SO CUTE!!!
ReplyDeleteJust like YOU-- amazing. Sorry I haven't had time to comment, but I am still following your story. Cannot wait for the grand finale!!!
DeleteThey have both come so far, congratulations for everything you have achieved. Hearts are brimming over : )
ReplyDeleteBeautiful babies. Amazing you.
ReplyDeleteAll the best wishes and airplane hopes. Keep on keeping on because the future will come...... and Hayden will want the car keys first... Explain the deal one more time.
haha I LOVE this. Thanks for the smile!
DeleteThey are growing ! Hope you get home real soon. I bet you strangely miss Delhi when you leave. Gorgeous looking bubs
ReplyDeleteAMAZING like their mummy, just you remember that. Take care :)
ReplyDeleteYes. Amazing. Remember that. HUGS.
ReplyDeleteHang in there... Three months in the NICU is hard, and I'm sure the difficulty is only compounded when you are living in Delhi.
ReplyDeleteHayden, oxygen isn't as cool as you think it is. There's something to be said for breathing room air.....
Lovely pics, I hope you are ok and coping just about with these difficult times. SR xxx
ReplyDeleteThey are amazing!
ReplyDeleteRest assured that when you ALL are ready to come home, WE ALL will be there to greet you! Both your children are as beautiful and as resilient as you and Duane, and ALL FOUR of you are just amazing...xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteCannot wait for the day!!! xoxoxo
DeleteWow. They certainly have grown a lot. You must be so worn out, though, and ready to come home. And Duane must be so ready to meet them. Hope you can get out of there soon!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday! Scarlett, you look like a doll. Hayden, I know you deserve to be spoiled on your birthday, but boys in the US get CAKE on their birthday instead of plain ol' oxygen!
ReplyDeleteYeah, my children seem a bit "confused" about their nationality. An awful lot of inhaling all sorts of thing going on here in India... Thinking of YOU guys!
Deletehappy three months to all of you. you deserve a medal...a big, shiny one. i admire your strength so so much! <3<3<3
ReplyDeletethe babies are beautiful!
