Scarlett Shapes Up: Delhi Day 24

So Scarlett and I had a little chat today. Mommy told her of a really beautiful place in India called Zara. Mommy explained that Zara just happens to be attached to Mommy's house in India. Indeed, all Mommy has to do is walk through her hotel door and there it is-- Zara!

My perceptive Scarlett concluded that Daddy would not be happy if he had to simultaneously pay for both Mommy's visits to Zara as well as her own stay at Hotel Delhi New Born.

Amazingly, Scarlett has decided that she no longer needs oxygen, as she would like to be released as soon as possible. Such a bright girl, she is!

A few pictures from today...
Let's hear it for my sister! Woot! Woot!

Sleeping Scarlett recovers.

Hey, Mom! Notice anything different about my face? Good job, buddy-- no C-Pap today!

I am sure these days are dragging for you but just know that we are all pulling for the twins to get out of that hospital very soon and home by the summer - if not sooner! Come on Hayden and Scarlett - you can do it!!!!!

  11. Great News!!! Three of us cheering for you! And hoping you can resist the urge for Retail Therapy much more than I was able to! I became entirely too dependent upon Select City Walk and DLF Place for sanity.

  15. Glad little Scarlett is feeling better!!! Now, does the Zara by your home have a children's section? We LOVE Zara for the little girls stuff, and I think she should have a special little dress to help her over this hump. Cute boy's stuff too.

    1. Aunt Kimmy, what a brilliant idea! I am SURE that she would love a little pick-me up outfit. (Of course considering the fact that she has spent the first month of her life in a diaper, I'm going to need to explain this whole concept of wearing clothing!)

  19. Hi Bernadette Just behind in my blog reading lately and i saw this post and felt soooooo relieved and happy everything is going well, then I saw the post before. What a nightmare day you had, so glad you are getting so much support in India. Even though I love India too I can only imagine the added stress of language barriers and being so far from home would add to your already challenging time. I'm glad Scarlett is listening to her Mumma and can you please tell both Hayden and Scarlett, Bec said no more scares please! Don't forget to keep taking care of yourself xx

  20. Hey Bernadette,
I couldn't be any more happy that you are finally the mommy you have always wanted to be. I look forward to reading all of your updated blogs. What a miracle these two babies are. They are so strong and fighting hard. Keep positive!! I can't wait to meet them when you finally bring them home. And guess what? In a couple of weeks you will be enjoying your very special day as a mommy. I remember reading this last year and how sad you were. Now, you have nothing but joy in your life. CONGRATS to you and Duane on your new beautiful family!! Postitive prayers continued to be sent your way!
