So much for the eloquent birth post I planned on writing!
Born today at 6:42 and 6:44 p.m. Delhi time (I still have not recalculated to ours), our little guy and gal arrived much earlier than expected! Please send your worldwide prayers and good thoughts to our very early babies!

ReplyDeleteDear Bernadette and Duane,
ReplyDeleteI read Michael's blog which alerted me to the fact that that your precious babies had been born. I was shocked and I was over joyed and crying. I met you in the waiting room at Dr Shivani's last August or very late July. I have travelled with you ever since.
Our babies were born early and spent three weeks at Pitampura with Dr Gupta. I know all about the long distance calls to Dr Gupta and the stress and the sleep less nights.
But your babies were both good weights and rest assured they are in very good hands. Dr Gupta will tell you that statistically females will always do better that males. Our little boy was v sick but he made it and Praise G-d is very healthy at 8 months. His sister who weighed 1.5 kgs is now almost 8 kgs and is very strong and healthy. They were born at 33 weeks. This is my prayer for Scarlett and Hayden to get better and stronger every day and to go home safely with their mummy and Daddy who love them so much.
Have you gone to India yet? I have travelled this road before and it is difficult but you are both so strong and you will conquer.
Scarlett and Hayden, bless them and welcome to the road less travelled. lots of love
Ahhh!! I've missed so much here. Just catching up. Congrats!!! And sending tons of prayers and strength for those babies to keep on growing!!
