Please feel free to message me anytime through the forum (brentsarahjane) as having early arrivals at DNH is a different (and quite stressful at times) experience. I had wonderful support from Kim Heffernan while we were over to help and answer questions unique to the preemie experience. Your babes are great weights with our sweeties only 1.2 & 1.5kg. Wow, I'm still in shock just reading your past two posts. It's all happened so fast and I'm sure not what you expected in terms of timing...but time to have a little celebration dance and say WOO HOO!!! ReplyDeleteThey will be breathing and eating on their own in NO TIME...now get your bags packed!!! YOU ARE PARENTS!! These kids are going to keep you on your toes...I have a theory about premies....they needed to burst into the world early because their personalities are so big!!!
(Small pieces of advice - get some premie diapers - Swaddlers - and bring with you...they fit MUCH better than what you'll find locally and don't take up much room in your luggage...)
Beautiful names. I'm sure it is scary having them so early, but those are decent weights, and at almost 30 weeks, I think they should catch up. Are you in Delhi yet? When things calm down (ok, that'll never happen with twins), share all the details.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, They are beautiful. They have great weights for being this early. Our little ones were born at 35 weeks at 1.8 kg and 2.2kg. They will grow big and strong really fast. Blessings to you all.
